What information do I need in order to get a quotation?
You will need to give us both the collection and delivery postcodes together with a brief description of what requires collecting. In the case of larger deliveries i.e. over 50kg it is important to give us the approximate size and total weight so we can ensure that the vehicle we provide can safely handle the consignment without being overloaded.
Please Note: If the item is hazardous we require to know more before we commit to a collection.
My parcel must be collected and delivered today, can you guarantee this? Yes we can! Our same day courier service is our main business. We can send a courier with vehicle to pick up your document, packet or parcel and get it to it's destination the same day.
What is Same Day Delivery? A same day courier delivery is when we collect and deliver your item/s the same day. The courier driver will collect the package directly from you and drive it directly to the address you wish without stopping or re-routing to collect another parcel...today! All our same day delivery is priced per mile, the greater the mileage distance is, the more it will cost you. For a slightly lesser cost you can choose our overnight service whereby your package will be delivered early the next morning within the UK.
My package is less urgent, can you accommodate this type of delivery? Yes! We can offer Overnight Courier Service and your package is delivered the very next morning.
Do you collect and deliver ebay items? Yes we can, if booked in advance
How can I book a Courier? Booking a courier job with us could not be easier. You can either place in the details on the booking form on our website and make payment through PayPal or ring us directly if we have already supplied you with a quotation by email, simply reply by email saying that you wish to go ahead giving us a contact telephone number and email address in order for us to send you a PayPal invoice to make your payment. We will then arrange our courier and inform you of their ETA (estimated time of arrival) at the collection pickup point. For jobs booked in advance we take payment either on the day before or on the morning / afternoon of collection.
Do I need to set up an account? There’s no need to set up an account. Just simply use our booking form to give us all the details and make payment.
How do I Pay for a Booking Online? When you book online with us and use PayPal to pay, your financial details remain completely confidential from the seller for your protection. The process once you click submit after entering all the required information in from the booking form will then automatically take you through to a secure PayPal site to finalise your payment. Professional Courier will then be notified that they have funds and can action the transaction accordingly. Sending money with PayPal is as safe as any other PayPal transaction, with industry leading secure technology to help protect you online against fraud.
What methods of payment do you accept? You can pay by cash upon collection or pay at time of booking on our website using most major credit or debit cards including MasterCard. Visa, Electron, American Express and Maestro through PayPal our online payment processor.
Will my credit/debit card details be secure? Yes 100% secure. In accordance with PayPal and PCI regulations, we do not store any debit/credit card details either electronically or manually.
Can I get a receipt? Yes, we will send you a fully receipted invoice by email.
Can I book a job in advance? Yes, if it is more convenient you can book a courier in advance and we will arrange for our courier to be at the pick-up point at your specified date and time.
How quickly will my package be collected after making the booking? We can normally collect almost anywhere in the Scottish Highland region within 1-3 hours or in Manchester within 60 minutes of booking. Your package will then be delivered directly to their destination by your dedicated courier.
Can you Multi drop Parcels along route? Yes we can do. Please email us your Collection pickup and desired delivery points so that we may calculate and quote the price for you.
What packaging is required? Packages must be properly wrapped/sealed to avoid damage to their contents in transit. The customer is responsible for ensuring the packaging is adequate for the purpose and that the Address Labeling is correct and clearly displays the recipient’s name and address details. If sending anything Fragile, please mark this clearly on the outer packaging. Our couriers are competent and very capable and will make sure your package/s are delivered with utmost care.
Do you delivery 'blind' tenders? Yes, we are fully experienced in handling blind tenders. Please inform us of this requirement at the time of booking so that we can make our courier aware and ‘Proof of Delivery’ paperwork can be filled in appropriately.
Are my goods insured during transit? Yes, all our consignments are covered by our Goods in Transit insurance up to £15,000. Please let us know if you require additional insurance for specific high value goods i.e. Jewellery, Small Antique ornaments etc.
